“You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.”

Psalms 63:1

When I am in a dry and parched land, in hunger and thirst, when I look around me and all I see is wilderness, dryness, unfulfilled dreams and unanswered prayers, when alone with my problems and lonely under the scorching sun, exposed to the merciless elements of life, You are my God!

You are my Springs of Living Water. I run to Your throne and drink from the abundance of streams that flow from Your throne. Psalms 46. There will I find refreshment, strength and rest.

Only those who are planted like trees by the rivers that flows from His Throne will flourish, their leaves will not wither nor grow old. Psalms 1

He that dwells in the secret place by that Throne will always abide cool, calm and collected under the shadow of the Almighty. Away from the scorching and parched elements of the desert. Psalms 91

Nothing will rattle them. They are in perfect peace because their heart is always stayed on Him – Isaiah 26; even if the earth shakes under their feet or the mountains be removed and cast into the sea, God will remain their refuge Psalms 46.

A thousand riots and calamities shall fall on their right and on their left, challenges and tempests of life will swirl around them but none shall come near them. Rather, they will watch the destruction of the wicked and every plan of the Enemy come to nothing in Jesus name, Amen. Psalms 91

All that the enemy planned and orchestrated to destroy them will turn around to work for their good – Romans 8:28; because God is on their side, God is their Helper, He will not leave them nor forsake them, Hebrews 13

Therefore I shall not fear what men will do to me because the Lord is my Shepherd, my High Tower, my Refuge, my Strength, and my Peace. Amen.

I want my blog to encourage everyone, to give people hope in their sad moments; for everyone to understand that God uses our every pain and disappointment to draw us closer to Jesus.
