My Vision
Welcome to Treasures in Broken Jars.
The Holy Spirit has not ceased working in our lives today. Diverse challenges and issues face us every day and the ultimate disciplinary purpose of the Holy Spirit through our trials is: to break our outward man, our pots of clay so that our inward man may come through to release the Treasure of God’s Kingdom.
Yet here is the difficulty: we fret over trifles, we murmur at small losses and we grumble over unfavourable situations. When we experience difficulties, it is a great opportunity for the Lord to prepare us in a way He can use us, yet scarcely has His hand touched us that we feel unhappy, unfairly treated, even to the extent of quarrelling with God and becoming negative in our attitude.
This Great Treasure, Jesus Christ, is in the earthen vessel, and the broken jars of our earthly bodies. However, if our earthen vessels are not broken through bruises, who can see this Treasure within?
Therefore, the final objective of the Lord’s working in our lives is to break our earthen pots and jars, to break our alabaster boxes, to crack open our shells so that the the excellent fragrance of Christ can flow through us without measure.
The Lord longs to find a way to bless the world through those who belong to Him. He longs for us to fulfil His word and become ministers of reconciliation, reconciling the world to Christ by presenting Christ and His gospel to the world.
Brokenness is the answer. Brokenness is the way of blessing, the way of fragrance, the way of fruitfulness, but it is also a path sprinkled with blood. Yes, when we offer ourselves to the Lord, to be broken vessels prepared to be at His service, we cannot afford to be lenient, to spare ourselves and avoid pain. We must allow the Lord utterly to crack open our outward man through pain and disappointments, through challenges and trials, so that He may find a way for His out-working.
How much we need for the Lord to open our eyes, to see that everything which comes into our lives is for a purpose. The Lord has not and does not waste even any experience nor allowed our experiences for the sake of it.
Critically, we must, therefore, realize that all the experiences, successes and achievements, troubles and trials which the Lord allows into our lives are for our highest good. We cannot expect the Lord to give better things; He always gives best things, and these are His best. What He has given you is the best; these includes your daily trials and your successes which are for your greatest profit.
In conclusion, the main objective behind every experience we face in life is that God wants to destroy our outward man, God wants to make us broken vessels and broken jars of clay; God wants our earthen vessels to break, wither and die. Once this happens, we can release the beautiful fragrance, the sweet smelling aroma of Jesus to the world around us. And men will, undoubtedly, witness that the excellency of our service to God did not come from us but from God.

This inspiring excerpt is the heart and vision of my blog. To inspire you to desire to be a broken alabaster box of God, a broken pot of malleable clay in the hands of our divine Potter, so that your life will constantly and continuously emit the glorious excellent fragrance of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Break us, make us and mould us as You desire, Oh Lord! And help us remain broken vessels in Your Hands everyday!
Shalom.
