Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done.

Daily Prompt

I never get to say “Thank You” enough, I never get to say “I love You” enough; I never get to realise all the seen and unseen battles You have fought and won on my behalf.

I never get to show my appreciation enough, I never get to pause and reflect; I never get to say how good You have been through the rough and tough of the years gone by

And so today I take a day, I will pause for precious moments with You and say, Thank You Lord for everything You have done and You keep doing for me.

You were never too busy not to give me Your time; You were never too busy not to die for me; You were never too busy to listen to my rambles and complaints; You were never too busy to demonstrate that You love me more than anything or anyone I know; You were never too busy to spend Your grace, Your mercy and Your love excessively on a poor sinner like me.

And so Lord, today, I will take a day, I will pause for precious moments with You and say, “Thank You for life, thank You for family, thank You for Jesus, thank You for Calvary, thank You for mercy, thank you for victories, thank You for disappointments and thank You for the lessons I learned from them, thank You for everything You have done and continues endlessly and excessively to do for a poor sinner like me.”
