The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; And he who has My word, let him speak My word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat?” says the LORD.”

Jeremiah 23:28

There are dreams, there are visions
There are prophecies and words of knowledge
These are gifts of the Holy Spirit we must desire earnestly
Yet the Word of God exceeds them all.

When dreams, visions, prophecies, and revelations are placed on the scales alongside the Word of God, the Word alone outweighs them. Its power, efficacy, strength, grace, and glory are so immense that it breaks the scales entirely.

Every gift of the Holy Spirit is given not to override or replace the Word of God, but to establish it, concur with it, and complement it. Moreover, our gifts and talents are entrusted to us to draw men back to God’s Word—to point hearts again to the our Lord

Jesus Christ is that Word:
the Word Who was in the beginning with God,
the Word Who was with God,
the Word Who was God.

There are kings, there are kingdoms
There are mountains and there are hills
There are prophets, there are priests
There are many great and influential figures in history, and reasons may be found to admire or follow them.
Only Jesus Christ reigns and rules forever.
No one and nothing can be compared with Him.

He alone is the incomparable, everlasting and Living Word of God.

He is not a word spoken and forgotten, nor a message limited by time or culture. He is the eternal Word—unchanging, unfading, unconquered. Before thrones were established, He was. When kingdoms rise and fall, He remains. When history closes its final chapter, He will still remain Lord.

Men may rule for a season, but His dominion is without end. Crowns may be laid down, titles may fade, empires may crumble into dust—but His kingdom is everlasting, and His authority knows no rival.

He is above every prophet who spoke in part, for He is the fullness of God revealed.
He is greater than every priest who stood between God and man, for He is the perfect High Priest who offered Himself once and for all.
He surpasses every king who governed by power, for He rules by righteousness and truth.

He is the Word that creates, the Word that convicts, the Word that redeems, and the Word that will judge the world in righteousness. What He speaks stands forever. What He establishes cannot be overturned. He is alive and powerful. Sharper than any double-edged sword, His Word penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; He judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart of every man.

Therefore, we do not build our faith on experiences alone, nor on signs, nor on the wisdom of men—but on Christ Himself, revealed in the Word of God. For when everything else shakes, the Word remains. When every other voice falls silent, His voice still speaks.

Jesus Christ is Lord. He remains the Living Word of God—yesterday, today, and forever.
