And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We are either in a process of being conformed or transformed. There’s not an in-between condition.

We are either on the broad or narrow road, a middle path isn’t mentioned. However, Jesus would rather we be hot or cold, being lukewarm is not pleasing to Him. More importantly, being lukewarm isn’t only being “halfway in” or “on the fence”, it’s a choice to distance ourselves from Jesus.

Just like in a faithful marriage, you are either faithful or unfaithful, there’s not an in between. Jesus wants our whole heart, an undivided devotion.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, help us to be faithful to you, because You are worthy of our whole being, body, mind and soul. You deserve not the parts nor the halves but everything. Amen.
