“What man is he that feareth the LORD? Such a man shall the Lord teach in the way that He shall choose.”

Psalms 25:12

The fear of the Lord is to hate and depart from evil. The proof that we have reverential fear of God is evidenced in our reluctance and unwillingness to participate in any wrongful act no matter how small. It is evidenced in our desire to forsake and forgo any character that does not conform to the God in us.

Thus, when we fear God truly, we place ourselves in a good position where He can teach us and lead us in paths of godliness and righteousness for His name’s sake. We give Him the freehand to lead us through the path that leads to life and favour.

Our Omniscient God knows everything including the future. He is, thus, willing to guide and lead those who fear Him into the bright future with hope; into the great goodness and favour He has laid up in store for them.

God will not force His way in. He will only teach and lead those who willingly allow Him to.
