Matthew 22:35-36

You need not be a lawyer,
Nor a priest with title grand,
To speak with God, our Father,
Just faith, like child’s hand.

Bring your thoughts and reasons,
Questions deep and free,
Stand before Him boldly,
In love, He waits for thee.

Ask Him of His nature,
Of life’s winding way,
He yearns for daily converse,
To guide you day by day.

Pastor, priest, though noble,
Cannot take His place,
For Jesus seeks your presence,
In every time and space.

No mediator needed,
Just come with heart so pure,
In constant, personal dialogue,
With Him, find love secure.
