But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:13

There is strength in the place of waiting on the Lord. Don’t be tired, don’t be weary. Wait for God, wait on God, wait for His timing. For He makes everything, absolutely everything beautiful in His time.

Stay and wait on Him, let Him give you the strength and the food you need for the journey. God said to Elijah, “Eat food and drink water for your journey is far.” My friend, eat and drink every food God brings your way- your food and drink may be wisdom or creative idea, or to pray or to network, it may be your talent/gift etc. or to simply do nothing for now. Only you will know the “little idea” that God is telling you to do now while you wait on Him.

Have you looked ahead and there is no finish line in sight. You wonder if you will ever reach your desired dream and destination. You look around and others seem to be jetting off into the sunset, leaving you behind to walk down that lonely road. Look up, child! Look to Him!

Don’t hurry and make a lifetime mistake you may never reverse. Wait for God’s leading, timing and provision. Wait for Him in the strength of His Word and promise to you.

“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.” – Psalms 27:14
