What do you think gets better with age?

Daily Prompt

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. – 2 Timothy 1:7

We have not received any kind of spirit but the Spirit of the Most High God. The Holy Spirit. In Him dwells all the power, love and wisdom we need.

We received power and strength. The God who lives in us is greater than he that lives in the world; therefore, we have power to live the life we are called to, the power to resist the lies of the enemy and the power to walk in obedience to God.

We received love. Perfect love quenches every fear. Love is the greatest and the answer to every problem. Love conquers all and hides a multitude of errors. Love is God and God is love. So if we must perfectly walk in love, we must draw ever so near to the God of love.

We received sound mind and wisdom. By His Spirit in us, we have access to every wisdom, insight and knowledge for our everyday lives. God guides and teaches us His wisdom as we submit our lives to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

These attributes are ageless, timeless and endless. They neither grow better or worse because they are the perfect virtues and attributes of an Eternal, Perfect and Ageless God. God wants us to manifest these in our lives in full measure. He has given us all these through His Spirit so that we can live a very fulfilled purposeful life for Him.

You have no reason to fear, we serve an Ageless God. Timeless God. God of Wonder.
