Daily Prompt

In the depths of earth’s core
I wallowed in sin
Unheeding to any voice except mine
Lost in the control of my sinful self
Until one day, I heard the voice my saving Saviour

He cleansed my heart from the clogs of sin
He showed me His wounded hands and pierced side
He opened my eyes to the love He poured
When on Calvary’s tree He bled and died

Then I heard the most beautiful words of all time-
You are My beloved
I gave My life as a ransom for Yours
I have delivered you from the enemy
Sin holds no power over you again
You are My beloved daughter
You are My chosen generation
You are the apple of My eyes
I love you and You are mine forever.
