When I searched for You, I discovered who You said I am
When I gave up myself for You, I gained a new life in You

When I sought earnestly for Your heart
You showed me the true state of mine
When I surrendered my all to You
You led me into the deep treasures of Your holy heart

The closer I come to the Cross
The more I see the vanities lurking within me
The nearer I draw to You, Lord
The more I see how desperately I need You

I only seek and desire this one thing:
That I may dwell in Your Presence all my days
To gaze upon Your beauty and majestic grandeur
And to meditate daily in Your temple
